    Enterprise AI projects rarely fail at the model. They fail in the gap between a demo that works on a laptop and a system that runs inside the customer’s environment, under their security policies, against their APIs, on their data, at their scale. The engineers who close that gap are not classic data scientists and not traditional pre-sales architects.     How the program is structured

    The program runs on three components. A four-hour self-paced foundation brings everyone to a common baseline. Six instructor-led workshops cover the working knowledge an FDE applies on live engagements. A 30-minute assessment and a self-paced capstone project confirm that each participant can integrate the pieces, not just recall them. The full arc moves an engineer through discovery, architecture, integration, agentic systems, and production reliability.

    The foundation that sets a shared starting line

    Before the workshops, every participant completes Navigating Generative AI and LLMs. It refreshes core GenAI and LLM concepts, introduces Hugging Face and LangChain, and covers Docker, containers, and cloud basics. The point is to eliminate the uneven starting knowledge that slows most technical training, so the live sessions can move at pace rather than spending day one leveling up.

    The six workshops

    Technical Solution Leadership sets the operating model. Participants learn how the FDE role differs from solutions architecture and platform engineering, how to run enterprise discovery and extract real requirements, how to translate business workflows into technical architectures, and how to deliver a rapid proof of concept inside a customer’s environment.

    Enterprise Integrations and Distributed Systems addresses the part of every deployment that breaks first: connecting to systems you do not own. The workshop covers REST, GraphQL, gRPC, webhooks, and API gateways; OAuth2, service identities, and token rotation; circuit breakers, retries, idempotency, and rate limits; and event-driven orchestration and streaming patterns.

    Agentic AI Systems for Enterprise Apps moves beyond single prompts into systems that act. Participants work with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, and workflow graphs; build RAG and ingestion pipelines with vectors and embeddings; implement tool use, function calling, and structured outputs; and wrap evals, guardrails, and prompt-injection defenses around them.

    Production Deployment and DevOps is where demos become services. The workshop weighs containers against serverless for customer environments, covers deployment patterns across AWS ECS, Kubernetes, and Cloud Run, sets up CI/CD for rapid PoCs with logs, traces, and metrics, and teaches blue-green rollout, rollback, and scaling.

    Security, Compliance, and Reliability Engineering prepares engineers for regulated buyers. It covers secure APIs, auth enforcement, and secrets handling; data governance for AI systems and LLM-specific risks; an overview of SOC2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA; and secure architecture patterns for regulated domains. This is often what separates a vendor that clears procurement from one that stalls in it.

    Technical Solutioning and Customer Caselets ties the program back to the customer. Participants run discovery sessions and map workflows, write architecture documents and diagrams, present PoCs and handle technical objections, and design a complete enterprise scenario from end to end.

    The capstone

    The program closes with a knowledge check and a self-paced industry project that pulls together solution leadership, distributed systems, agentic AI, DevOps, and secure architecture. The output is an enterprise-grade FDE solution demo, and participants who complete it earn the Certified Forward Deployed AI Specialist (CFDAS) designation. You get a tangible artifact from each participant, not a completion certificate alone, which makes the impact easy to review internally.
